Meeting #2

Last night (6-5-08) the book club met with Terry, Gabby, LeslieAnn and Beth in attendance. We enjoyed our cool glass of wine inside since it was still 100-degrees outside. Here were the tenants of our discussion of part one: 1) We all agreed that we're really enjoying the book; 2) We felt very sold on his manic life and commiserated with his illness; 3) We enjoyed seeing the author's connection with Ozzy, the adopted puppy and identified with his connection to the pooch; 4) Seeing his connection with Ozzy is very uplifting; and 5) we all can't wait to read the last two sections.
In business, we decided we are not going to meet in July since our meeting would coincide with fourth of July celebrations so our next Wine Cellar meeting will August 7th at 6:30 p.m. and we will come armed with our suggestions for book #2 which might be a memoir considering all in attendance spoke to our mutual love of the genre.
